OpenKids Partnership · Malaysia

Education Franchise
Opportunities in Malaysia.

One multi-brand system instead of four single-subject franchises — built in Singapore, already proven in Kuala Lumpur.

At a Glance

OpenKids offers a multi-brand education franchise for Malaysia: creative arts, STEAM & AI, competition robotics and university admissions in one partnership, backed by TreeArt, Futurum Academy, AK Robotics and GaiaX. Its Kuala Lumpur arts network has grown since 2021; partners train ten days at Singapore HQ and operate on the MagiBox technology stack.

Why Malaysia, Why Now

Not a New Market for Us. Our First One.

01

The Export Model Was Proved Here

Our Kuala Lumpur arts network was OpenKids' first international market — growing since 2021, run on the same curriculum and MagiBox stack as Singapore.

02

Four Programmes, One Licence Path

Creative arts, STEAM & AI, competition robotics and global admissions in one partnership — instead of stitching together four single-subject franchises.

03

Singapore HQ, Three Hours Away

Ten days of pre-opening training at HQ, then ongoing audits and coaching. Same certification, same standard, every market.

Malaysia Partner FAQ

What territories are currently available?

Availability changes as territories are signed, so the live map on our Global page is the source of truth. As of mid-2026, recruitment is open in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the United States, among other markets. Each protected territory is granted to one partner only, so open cities are confirmed on your discovery call.

What is included in the initial investment?

The initial package covers partner and teacher training — including ten days of immersive training at Singapore HQ — full curriculum licensing and certification, the MagiBox + CRM technology stack, site-selection and fit-out standards, and pre-opening marketing. Exact amounts vary by market and tier, and every figure is confirmed in writing before you sign.

How are the revenue figures calculated?

Figures such as S$1.0–1.2M mature-centre annual revenue and the 120-to-500-student ramp are averages self-reported by operating partners across the network. They are unaudited, and no individual result is guaranteed. Before signing, you receive the underlying assumptions in writing and can verify them directly during due diligence.

What local licences are required to open a centre?

Requirements differ by country. In Malaysia, for example, an enrichment centre typically needs company incorporation, registration with the local education authorities, premises and signage licences from the local council, and fire-safety approval. HQ provides a country-specific licensing checklist and walks you through it during setup — operational guidance, not legal advice.
